Best car dealer experience I have had to date. Have purchased more than 4 cars, 2 recently and every other dealer can learn from the BYD West Rand group customer service, it never felt like a sales pitch or that we were just another number, no pressure on buy now or you'll never get a better price. Ndivhuwo was just class, great person I would recommend anyone wanting to look at Electric/Phev to go see him and see the great cars BYD has on offer there. 5 stars all the way

Best dealership experience of my actual life. Not exaggerating. I went to BYD Westrand expecting the usual dealership experience: waiting, vague answers, pressure tactics, and that feeling that you need a shower afterwards. What I got instead was… professionalism, warmth, efficiency, honesty, and actual humans who genuinely care. I am still processing this. From the moment I walked in, the team was welcoming, knowledgeable, and refreshingly not pushy. No sales gimmicks. No nonsense. Just clear explanations, patience, and a real effort to understand what I needed. Every question was answered properly (even the ones I asked twice 😅), and nothing ever felt rushed or transactional. It honestly felt less like “buying a car” and more like being guided by people who are proud of their product and want you to leave happy. And I did. Very happy. I’ve dealt with many dealerships over the years and this was, hands down, the best customer service experience I’ve ever had. If this is the standard at BYD Westrand, other dealerships need to take notes. Highly, highly recommended. If you’re on the fence, this is your sign. 👏🚗

We bought a BYD Surf from the West Rand Branch, overall experience was good, we were given a breakdown of the vehicle features and a short test drive of the EV. As we paid cash we couldnt make use of the 10k cash back deal with the 2 year insurance but we were able to negotiate smash & grab tint and waiver of the on road fees for the vehicle.After driving the Surf for a few weeks, I've been thoroughly impressed with the drive quality and ease of traffic navigation, I'm looking at buying a second BYD vehicle. Upgrading this review as the GM was able to sort out the BYD APP issues and we are now online. OFC the Boerries and Ice tea might've swayed our opinions Thanks and keep up the good work chaps🎊🥳😁 ✨

Booked a test drive. Staff was friendly and answered all my questions. I was ready to purchase but had some weird asks. They assisted me with every step and I now own one of their cars. I would buy from them again any day of the week.
